Summer Safety Series: Watch out for mold
Recent storms these last few weekends in the south Jersey area have affected everyone’s summer vacation. Don’t let water and storm damageextend its stay. Heat and moisture are partners in crime in creating mold that canruin your home.
Be proactive in attacking and preventing mold. Make sure to dry damp and wet areas in atimely manner. Any areas you suspect can have a mold/mildew issue; you want toclean with bleach immediately. If the item cannot be saved such as books andpaper, dispose of it.
Make sure you know if your homeowners’ policy includes orexcludes COVERAGE mold damage.
