Scooters vs. Motorcycles

Think about the wind blowing in your hair as you breeze pastyour neighbors on your new two-wheeler…..Bikes can come with a lot of options.Would you want 50 cc – 600 cc gas-powered motor? 50cc would be a small bike.600 cc would be a motorcycle. How would you use it for local or distance? Howmany seats would you prefer one or two?

Scooters only cost about $10 to fill up the tank and you getabout 75 – 90 mph to the gallon. They are also great for short trips.

Want something more rugged? Then you may be better offpurchasing a motorcycle. Motorcycles tend to be heavier than scooters. Theyalso take more effort to maneuver in traffic. Motorcyles also come in differentwidths which is something to consider when purchasing a new bike.

The great benefits of owning either of these vehicles arethat they are affordable, better for the environment, easier to maintain, andthere’s always space for parking. They also need to be registered with thestate and insured. New Jersey requires riders to have a valid motorcyclelicense or motorized bicycle (moped), wear a helmet, and use a face shield orgoggles.
