United States Department of Justice virus

Imagine you’re online on your favorite website. You click on
a link and this message pops upon your computer screen.

You heart drops and panic sets in. You scramble thinking
about how would you get $300 to pay this fine. You try restarting your computer
thinking this is just a pop up however it DOES
NOT go away. What are you going to do?

 Fortunately, there is a solution. This pop-up is part of a
virus called the U.S Department of Justice Virus. It is pretty common to get
when your anti-virus software is not up to date. You can click on a harmful
link online to easily pick up this virus.

 

How to remove this
virus (For PCs only)

 1.) Restart your computer.

2.) Press F8. Click start in Safe mode for networking.

3.) Download a virus software program i.e. Malware Bytes

4.) Run a scan.

5.) When the software picks up the infected files and
folders, remove the threats.

6.) Restart your computer again.

 

Viruses can attack your computer at any time. Remember to
always back up your files and update your anti-virus software.
