How to Clean your Air-Conditioner
Have your ever looked inside your air conditioner? It’s probably clogged with dirt, mold and pollen. If you have allergies, this can cause it to get worse. Thankfully, you can clean your vents and coils with soap and water. You don’t need any expensive cleaning equipment or solutions.
You also want to stock up on some air filters with a minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of at least 11 or 12, and replace them every three months when the seasons change.
Remove your Window A/C units at the end of summer to prevent allergen accumulation. When summertime comes around again, re-clean your vents and coils and pop in a new MERV filter.
